Ok well i have listened to this album i own it because the release date on amazon is wrong. Anyway this album has been criticised in the press with mediocre 3 star reviews, but people are comparing it to Young for Eternity and they are totally different albums. The songs in Young for eternity are basically all a statement of love from Billy to Charlotte songs such as 'Oh Yeah' 'She Sun' 'Rock n Roll Queen' and 'i want to hear what you have got to say' Now 3 years on from that Billy and Charlotte have split up and 'All or Nothing' is the fallout the songs are totally different 'Strawberry Blonde' is a song full of Billys' emotions lyrics such as 'your the strawberry blonde and i am the grey' perfectly capture the pain of breaking up. The stand out songs on the album are 'Shake! Shake!' 'Alright' 'Kalifornia' and 'Strawberry Blonde'. Nearly all of the songs have really strong riffs and 'Strawberry Blonde' is the only acoustic track on the album, but this album is meant to be played at festivals and stadiums as is the intesity and energy of it. All in all a good second album, but could be a little better 4.5 stars

So much for second album syndorme.
It races out of the blocks, with the pounding Girls And Boys, and impressively keeps the pace up for the best part of the album. Single worthy Shake! Shake! is a fantastic track.
And songs like Move To Newyln and All Or Nothing allow you to temporarily catch your breath before the stomping Turnaround.
The album is littered with huge festival sized tunes, and wonderful acoustic numbers.

The Subways have managed to improve every aspect of their debut album. The lyrics are stronger, the music is tighter and it proves almost impossibe to pick out a favourite track.

The DVD/Enhanced version of the album is defintely worth the extra couple of pennies.
Bonus track This Is The Club For People Who Hate People is one of the best tracks on there, and the the DVD has some insightful interviews and extra videos.
