This book is an inspiration, I read it in about 2 days. If you have a love for chickens then this book is for you. Full of hints and tips that even, as an experienced keeper it is good to be reminded of. Beautiful seasonal recepies to try. Lovely to read as the seasons pass with lovely photos too. Loved it!

This is a delightful pick up book to keep beside you, easy to pick up and read a few pages at a time an insight to life in the country with recipes and information, ideal for people keeping chickens for the first time or who just enjoy an easy uncomplicated read.

Had this for a birthday, and have really enjoyed reading it. I love chickens and gardening so for me it couldn't fail, especially with a little bit of cooking and crafts thrown in. Lots of lovely photographs to inspire as well. A very interesting lady, who has now moved house, so I won't be able to visit her little shop.
