Really good film.,

I bought the DVD for my husband. Didn't think it was my sort of film but I really enjoyed the story. As it is a true story it was sad but very good to watch.The acting was good and could be watched by the whole family. Very entertaining!

Brilliant and tragic story of courage and Hounor,

This is about the true story of the kings household staff were formed and sent of to fight during WW1 and the battle of Gallipoli between Britian and Turkey were they met there tragic end. All the acting and the battle scenes respectively are well written and performed but it is both David Jason and Ian Mcdirmid who give brilliant performances and really make this shine. A well done story with charachters who were you could not help but feel for.

An excellent film and so pleased we could get a copy from yourselves as we had started to watch the film on the TV and the recording was cut short before it had finished. We tried to get it back on I player etc but without success. Very good service from Amazon too.
