These attributes are all greatly significant on this album. All their top quality hits on one disk, along with Mel Blatt's solo effort (indicative of a great career ahead for her). All Saints were a league ahead of their contemporaries, simply because of the sheer class of their songs. In the case of Never Ever, War of Nerves and Black Coffee, we're treated to ballads of real soul and melancholy. All Hooked Up and Lady Marmalade are the perfect songs to get ready to on a Saturday night, they capture the 'funky diva' ethos so perfectly!! And of course, there is the 21st Century classic that is Pure Shores. Basically, if you're a fan of a bit of soul, r and b, and just some top quality choons, then this is definitely the cd for you!! I've only given it 4 stars because I'm just so disappointed they split up when they did, there should be so many more songs on this, they had such great potential!
