5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, and scary! 20 Nov 2005
By Dark Paths VINE VOICE
After the misstep of Daisy Chain, Big Finish bounce back with the best Sapphire and Steel audio adventure yet. All All Down, written by David Bishop, is both startling and traditional. It also reintroduces the wonderful Silver, played by the original actor, David Collings. His presence is the icing on a macabre cake, which finds our heroes confronting the evil 'Maldeb'. The battle takes place in several time zones, from the 17th century through to today, as the staff of a dusty archive find themselves haunted by something nasty.
The production is great, with lovely audio flourishes here and there, and the quality of the acting is as good as it gets. This is a great return to form, and a must have for both Sapphire and Steel fans, and those interested in the supernatural.

This is a very well done adventure. I marvel at the quality of most of the Big Finish CD's in terms of production, writing and cast done on a shoe string compared to some of the products which have money thrown at them to no avail.

This is a cracking adventure and is great Sapphire and Steel stuff. I quite like the Passenger, the first audio CD in series 1, but the as someone said, it was a bit of a "greatest hits" of bits taken from TV episodes. With this story and remember me, the team have really hit their stride in creating new Sapphire and Steel stories which stand up with the best of the TV series.
