Book Description

All the Way by Jennifer Probst

The food critic…

Miranda Storme never expected to see Gavin Luciano again. Three years ago, they had an intense affair—and then he bolted. Now he’s back, and Miranda has the pleasure of a little payback: a scathing review of his restaurant. Revenge is a dish best served the first chance you get…

And the restaurateur…

With three months to make his family’s struggling Italian restaurant successful, a bad review is Gavin’s worst nightmare. But this isn’t just about the meal. He's finally realized what he left behind and is determined to spend the next eight weeks proving himself to her in the kitchen…and in the bedroom! This is one dish she won’t be able to refuse...

When you've had a bit of a rough day at work, you know you can pick up a Jennifer Probst book, forget about reality and lose yourself in a great romance with a good storyline, characters who are easy to love and some hot steamy content.

All The Way ticked all the boxes and I devoured it. Gavin and Miranda were realistic and easy to love; he is a sexy wealthy executive who has come home to help his family turn around their ailing Italian restaurant, she is a feisty restaurant critic who also happens to be his ex-love. Whilst their story did have an air of predictability, it didn't detract from a read which was heartwarming, witty and sexy with moments which made me laugh and tugged on the heartstrings. I loved it.

Needless to say I recommend and look forward to reading more from Jennifer in the future.

Sorry but I didn't enjoy this story as much as I thought (hoped) I would. It dragged a little bit and wasn't a recipe for success.

5.0 out of 5 stars All The Way, Jennifer does it again 5 Mar. 2013

After reading my first Jennifer Probst book I became hooked and joined the Posse.

All The Way does not disappoint.... There is a serious and real relationship between the main characters, there is great sex and lovemaking scenes. Lots of emotional and sexual tension, but the girl gets her guy in the end.

Looking forward to the next release from this author..... Check out her other books.

The last place Miranda Stowe expected to find Gavin Luciano was in the middle of Mia Casa while she she having dinner with her best friend. Seeing Gavin brought up all the ugly memories of how he left and what she had to deal with afterwards. She uses her job as a food critic to get her ultimate revenge, but she learns that Gavin isn't going to give up that easily.

Three years ago, Gavin abruptly left Miranda for a job in Europe. Temporarily home to help save his family's restaurant from bankruptcy, Gavin also planned on finding a way to apologize to Miranda and prove to her she meant more to him than just a brief affair. But Gavin has his work cut out for him, because Miranda is not the same woman he left behind and this one isn't going to let him off that easy.

This was a cute story, but I wasn't really in love with the characters the way I wanted to be. Miranda was just a bit too cold (and down right nasty when she ran into her arch nemesis in restaurants) to make me want Gavin to fight for her. I understood why she was that way, but it was just too much of a change from how she used to be.

Then there was Gavin. Sometimes he was just a little too wishy washy for me. He wanted to help his family, yet he was ready to flee in a matter of weeks. He wanted to win Miranda back, yet he was leaving for China in a few weeks. With all his contemplations in India and his realization that he loved Miranda, he didn't come to the conclusion that he wanted to be back in New York?

I enjoyed the foodie part of the story and LOVED Gavin's father and his gang of old croonies. I love how Gavin's dad quoted Sinatra and how he and his friends would fight over the rat pack. They were charming and brought back memories of my childhood growing up with my Italian grandfather playing Dean and Frank.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smoking hot romance! -4.5/5 5 Mar. 2013

All The Way by Jennifer Probst is a smoking hot romance with down to earth characters that draw you into their sexy and addictive love story! This book will leave you breathless!

Gavin Luciano hasn't set eyes on his ex-girlfriend Miranda Storme in the last three years. When she walks into his family owned restaurant, Mia Casa, with another man it is like a punch to his gut. It seems that Gavin has never really gotten over their past relationship. When Miranda gets up to use the restroom, Gavin follows her and waits for her. It is quite clear that there is still a deep connection between the two.

" God, you look good, Red." She froze then slowly turned around and came face to face with her past. "Thanks you haven't changed a bit." He gave a soft laugh and moved forward, waves of masculine energy emanated from his body, pulling her in. His gaze traveled over her face, her hair and downward. " Coming from you I'm a bit leery." Miranda struggled to remain cool and distant. "I'm sure my opinion won't keep you up at night." A lazy grin curved his lips." It's not your opinion that I'm worried about. There were other things about you that kept me up at night."

Gavin knows that he screwed up their relationship in the past, but he has done some growing up and he will do anything to win Miranda back. Will Gavin be able to convince Miranda that he has changed and that he is the man for her?

Miranda works as a food critic, she writes reviews on area restaurants. She is shocked when she goes to Mia Casa to do a review to find Gavin is the owner of the restaurant. When he corners her near the restroom it is hard to fight the attraction that she still feels for him, but she is not about to let him hurt her again. Miranda decides that a little revenge is in order, and she writes a bad review on Mia Casa. Still, she can't help but daydream about the passion that she and Gavin used to share.

" Talk to me, baby." His mouth nibbled on her ear, did delicious things to her neck and with one quick movement, strong hands ripped open her blouse. She gasped, knowing this was the beginning of the game that would end in a rocket of pleasure. Knew the rough play ended in the most explosive orgasm she'd ever experienced.
Will Miranda realize that her heart still belongs to Gavin and will she be willing to let her guard down to let love find it's way back into her life?

Jennifer Probst has written and outstanding, erotically tense book that I was unable to put down. It is easy to fall in love with Gavin, he is definitely a swoon worthy character. Miranda is the type of heroine that I would like to be, she is tough on the outside, but she is really a sweetheart on the inside. If you enjoy your romances with a lot of passion then I highly recommend All The Way for you!

5.0 out of 5 stars You'll Love All the Way 4 Mar. 2013
By Angie - Shameless Book Club - Published on

[4.5/5 stars]

If you like any of Jennifer Probst's Marriage Bargain books, you'll love All the Way. Though this is a different storyline than that of one ending or beginning in marriage like the books in the series, All the Way follows a similar pattern of conflicting feelings of love and lust. This is a great read for those of us who like a bit of romantic predictability mixed with passionate love scenes.

It's not a book I'd have to read again which I found odd because I have read her other books over. However, it was still decent!
