3.0 out of 5 stars UK based marketing book 13 May 2011
By meik1 - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
The two main concept this short book discusses are: all employees are marketers (everyone should be enthusiastic abut what you are selling from your IT people to the bookeepers) and investing/getting customers who buy again and recomend products to others. The author references some other marketing techniques, examples, and gurus. An okay, short read.

3.0 out of 5 stars No great revelations here 24 Oct 2011

This is a long-winded approach to the marketing training presentation that I have been shown at every single job I have ever held. If you have been forced to sit through some PowerPoint presentation about how all employees are responsible for your company's image, then you can skip this all together. The author goes so far as to tell the reader that even a company's janitorial staff can make or break an opportunity. What a bunch of malarkey! The only time I have ever even seen the cleaning staff at my office is if I have to work late. This would only be a salient point if one owned/operated a janitorial service business where one's employees DO have an impact on the business. In summation: pass!

I really enjoyed reading this small but riveting account on why all those involved in a company are the actual marketers of that company.

Would recommend to both students and professionals alike.

The vast majority of your customers who are unhappy with your service or product will not actually complain to you directly. Research suggests that it is perhaps as few as 5% to 10% who actually complain. "e;
