I purchased this album because it was an Amazon recommendation and the reviews were good so I thought it worth a gamble. Having played the album I couldn't believe how good it was. The musicianship and vocals are spot on and it is a great album for a quiet day or after a long day at work. All I can say is BUY IT NOW!

Real music 25 Sep 2007
By CC Ryan
Format:Audio CD
These guys (and girls) play and sing to the highest standard imaginable. Yes, there are well-known names involved, such as the great and soulful Hamish Stuart and the terrifyingly creative Jim Mullen, but Matt Clackett (sax), Mary Pierce (vocals), Guy Phethean (keys) and Cutty Williams (vocals) - to name just a few of the exceptional musicians featured here - can easily stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them. The feel is old-school, but Oxford and Cambridge are old schools too, and they're still producing geniuses.

This album is astounding, there's not a bad track. My favourite has to be 'All About The Music', from it's Eastenders style drum start, to the backing vocals and Jocelyn Browns lead it is superb. The jazz influence on this album is unmistakable, there's a touch of reggae in there and some of the guitar work is reminicent of George Benson. Since getting it a week ago it has not been out of my car CD player. All in all a superb album from a gathering of highly talented musicians and one any right minded soul fan should have in thier collection.
