Based on a story outline by Alistair MacLean, this story is set in Lisbon airport. Sergei Kolchinsky and C.W. Whitlock are about to board a plane back to the US. The two men have completed a trip to co-ordinate anti-criminal activities throughout Europe when one of them is kidnapped.

Alistair MacNeill was born in Scotland in 1960. His family moved to South Africa when he was six years old, where he showed a growing interest in writing. He returned to Britian in 1985 to pursue a full-time writing career.

One of the THE BEST books out there

This novel is a masterpiece written by a true artist. It is non-stop action, from the moment you open the book to the moment you put it down. A great novel, I recommend it to all readers who enjoy action. If you enjoy this, you will definitely enjoy all his others

Code Breaker is a Back Breaker

This book reads like a poorly written screenplay for a bad made-for-TV movie. The characters are incredibly one-dimensional, the interaction of the characters is wooden and all the 'action' is straight out of an 'A-Team' episode. The characters keep calling each other 'the best in the business' but are routinely outwitted and outsmarted. The action is slim, the pacing is poor and the writing is NOT clever.
This author has no business having their name associated in any way with Alistair MacLean.
Skip this book, I wish I had.
