Somewhat disappointing I thought. Not very well illustrated at all! Not a patch on the illustrated screenplay of another James Cameron film, T2 which had pictures on every page with much more detail of the making. And it was cheaper! (I know its a few years old, but still). I think that this book is ok, but is too expensive and does not fulfill its promise. Shame.

Regarded by some as the best in the series , Aliens is a superb script by the talented Mr. Cameron and this definitive version is a true masterpiece . As if the brilliant script wasn't enough , the plot is expanded on in the "Deleted Scenes" section in which there are some shocking discoveries plus a range of cinematic photographs and information about the movie . This includes an insightful introduction from Paul Sammon . A real work of art !

All three "Alien" books are absolutely brilliant. Its well written and absorbs you into it. Anyone who found the films a bit scary might find the books somewhat intense. A good read and not for the faint hearted. You'll be willing Ripley on till the end.
