Small and cheerful 3 Jan 2010

Got the book very quickly. It has small size (probably 1/2 of A4 page), a few black-white pictures inside, good letters size - easy to read for children.
My son loves it.

Good Way To Get Boys To Read 12 Jan 2009

I bought this book in the hopes that a chapter book with Bakkugan in it would encourage my son to read. It worked. It's certainly nothing exceptionally academic, but he's enjoying reading it. (Okay - some Moms will stop at nothing to get their kids to enjoy anything related to school!)

This book is a good read for kids. They get the gist of the story. It is a good start for younger children before watching TV series.
Note that this book is not a picture book. Younger kids might loose interest quickly. Start with the guide in the last pages of the book, that helps visualize the characters. After this kids got more involved into the story.
It's a good book for boys interested in bakugan and reading well.

I was pretty shocked. Normally my son loves anything Bakugan. I think we must have hundreds of those little marble's rolling around all over the place. Pyrous this and Ventus that.

So I thought this would be a sure fire hit. Nope. He got about a chapter in and put it down and everytime I migrate it over to his "to be finished" pile he just shoves it back in the box.

I have very low expectations on these types of books so I'm pretty shocked that this couldn't even hit that bar. Really really low. If he reads it one time through I consider it a success.

He preferred the Ben 10 chapter books (there are 2 out as of this review) and has read them several times.

I can't recommend these. If you want a book on Bakugan pick up the guide one. Its outstanding!
