Billy Dee Williams is a legend. No doubt about it. This film however, doesn't quite live up to his usual standards. it's funny but what it is at heart is just reevo. The idea of the pods in the film is just an idea to put porn in but it isn't very well executed. It just sucks in fact. It has its moments though and for those moments its worth the cheap price.

Although this si supposed to be a sci-fi film, more than half of it could be classed as ultra-soft porn. This half is not set in space at all and is all carried out in a 'holo-deck' type world that the crew of 4 go to in their down-time. I realy wish I hadn't bothered . The only reason it has got 1 star is because Tracey Scoggins (The new adventures of Superman) is in it. Buy or rent something else, unless you are going to give it to someone you don't like.

A mysterious woman appears aboard a spacecraft and begins to seduce the crew one by one, forcing them to become murderously jealous of one another. The parallel 'plot' occurs within the dream pods, where on their vacation time the crew use induced dreams to take themselves to, for example, the wild west, or the 1950s. During these dream sequences the mysterious woman also appears, in pretty much the same role, despatching the crew members' fantasy female avatars and replacing them with herself.

The mysterious woman is of course the alien intruder, and her motive never becomes clear, as rather than speaking she just prefers to giggle irritatingly - and, of course, strip.

Left unsure what the point of the film was other than to set a cheap softcore in space (actually set as much in the 1950s and on the beach), it would probably appeal more to a softcore audience than a sci-fi one.
