More About the Author

Born in a small town on the coast of North Carolina to strict parents, Tracy St. John started out as a quiet, shy child. She was typical for her small town: studying hard for good grades, fishing with her dad on Saturdays and attending church on Sundays.

When adolescence kicked in, so did full-on rebellion. Staying out late, underage drinking, and dating the wrong sort of men way too old for her got Tracy in a lot of trouble for awhile. Finally she got her act together, and while still enjoying naughty pleasures, she kept it in moderation.

A string of failed relationships prompted her to give up on love...which of course meant fate immediately tossed Mr. Right her way. After only 4 months of dating, she eloped with the love of her life. They've just celebrated 15 years of wedded bliss.

Prior to penning her first erotic novel 'Alien Embrace', Tracy wrote commercials, television and radio promos, and training films for various government entities.

Tracy St. John now lives in coastal Georgia with her husband and son. She still loves fishing, and you'll often find her haunting train museums with her locomotive-loving son. Besides writing, she also works in video production both in front of and behind the camera. She's usually cast as the gun-toting bad gal, getting handcuffed in the end. She has no complaints.

This is a brand new antho of Kalquorian/connected tales, featuring clans and characters you will know, if you've read the 5 full-length novels. I wasn't sure whether shorter tales would satisfy, as I've only read longer ones by TSJ, but I enjoyed these as much.

They are short, and amazon's blurb tells most of what happens in each - some feature previously-featured leads living their HEA, some feature side characters seen in the novels, but all feature a bout or two or three, of the hot, naughty sex that I've come to expect from the series. My faves have to be Amelia's tale, which takes place on her wedding anniversary, Empress Jessica's abduction, and how her men show her how pleased they are that she's safe, and Michaela's child - emotional, and with an underlying theme that most of us are guilty of...but like I said, they are ALL good.

The very last 'tale' is in fact an intro to Alien Preludes, and yes, that looks as if it will another great read too!

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW - Packed with Full & Complete Stories with NO Editing Problems! 9 May 2012

I really love Tracy St John's Kalquor Series but have come very disappointed with the way New Concepts Publishing has ruined her writing in the last couple of books by poor editing or formatting (like adding blank lines where they do not belong). But, I did notice that the publisher on this book of short stories was Tracy St John, herself - way to go! No editing problems and no strange formatting - it was great and I hope she does it again and again. It was a real joy to read.

Not only that, Tracy was able to pack a lot in this series of short stories. Each one was enjoyable and complete for being a series of short stories. While the first one was very short it still was rich with details. For anyone who has been a fan of this series - THIS IS A MUST BUY! Every Clan and their Matara has a story that leads to the introduction of the next book in the series. The reader is given an update on what has been going on with the Clans and the characters that we have read about in the past books and brought them together. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I just hope that St John publishes it herself like she did this one. I'll still buy it even if New Concepts is the publisher but I hope not - they really know how to ruin a book now.

For those of you have never picked up any of the former books in the series - DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOOK - YOU WILL BE TOTALLY LOST. Do yourself a favorite and do try this series if your in the mood for:

- Total Alpha males that totally adore and want to take care of their mate
- Totally hot love scenes that do include mild BDSM, multiple sex partners and are graphic in content
- Sexually submissive females - that are not doormates - they know when to kick butt and when to let go
- There is forced seduction that has an edge to it but is not demeaning

St John has created an incredible world with vivid details that I revisit time and time again. I look forward to the next one in this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible short stories! 8 Nov 2012

I really loved and enjoyed this short stories.
To the writer: Thanks for writing the first one, I did not know if you would take my recomendation for it. Thanks bunches! Still, it was better than I could ever imagine it. Your stories are getting better and better with every new book. Please, keep writing more Kalquor stories. I'm hook on them :-)
To the readers: This book is a continuation of the previous books, giving us a glimpse of what is going on with the characters of the previous books. Do not buy it if you have not read them. You will not understand what is happening. My advice to you is to buy the whole series. They are wonderful, but if you do not like mild BDSM, spankings and graphics sexual encounters then stay away from them. I have read the whole series over and over again. I can not have enough of them. Thanks again for them and keep writing about the Kalquor world. We, your fans, love it!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Alien Interludes: Clans of Kalquor Short Stories 31 May 2012

I skimmed through most of the first short story. It wasn't until the second that I realized each short story was a continuation of previously published novels. Despite the fact I had to piece together the backstory of the series I found the characters very interesting. For example in two stories she unites lovers who have lost spouses they adorded. Dealing openly with their grief they find different means of living fulfilling lives. Another deals with Alpha males putting together a business presentation for investors. NOT something the typical Alpha warrior does. I especially like that the men in the series have "jobs"- a chef, doctors, psychologists, cops as well as those serving in the military. Kalquor is a rich world that I adore visiting.

In fact I was so intrigued by the characters that I purchased the entire Kalquor series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Alien review 13 Dec 2012

This was one of the best series I have ever read. I was not happy when I was nearing the end of the story because I did not want it to end. But I was oh so glad I had another story in the series to read. This story was very different from any other series I have ever read. The story was well written without being confusing even though the story line encompassed many other planets and aliens, everything was kept at a level that was easy to follow and remember from story to story. The females are strong females, they are either alpha's from the start of the story or turn into alpha's by the end of the stories. But, I wish there would of been more of the females holding there own in the beginning of each relationship instead of giving in to the men with in a few short pages. This book had many short stories that cleared up questions I had about certain characters. This series is a MUST read! AND the Kindle books are FULL books.
