Don't go and waste your money on this one. The front cover looks a bit like 'Alien vs Predator' but this film isn't one percent as good as that film. Avoid.

Do not let the packaging of this DVD fool you into thinking this is another in the Alien vs Predator franchise. It is not. It is a poorly made, poorly acted low-budget horror movie which shamelessly steals ideas from that franchise but fails to deliver anything worth watching. The storyline is non-existent beyond the basic idea of "aliens crash-land on Earth and mindless slaughter ensues"; the acting is abysmal; the special effects absolutely risible (with even the "men-in-rubber-suits" nature of the alien hunter being used as a final throw-away laugh in the film's closing reveal!)
Even the horror isn't well done and the only frightening thing about this release is the thought that someone might actually pay any money to watch it! Be warned: don't!

Worst ending to a film ever? (this scene is awarded 5 stars for unintentional comedy value)

I came in about a third of the way through this on TV the other night and for some reason I was transfixed at just how terrible this film is. It could be an unintentional comedy gem if it catches you in the right mood, and in particular look out for:
- The slowest moving adversary in cinema history aka The Hunter of the title.
- An alien that sprouts spiders legs and goes on shaky CGI rampages on its own with no obvious intent (never next to an actor as this would no doubt have doubled the film budget).
- One set of actors wandering through a bad tunnel set for what seems like an eternity with absolutely nothing happening or any dialogue.
- Some of the worst fight editing you'll ever encounter.
- The cast don't appear to know what is going on and certainly don't convey the feeling they are at all troubled by their imminent collective demise.
And finally - the pièce de résistance - the worst ending to a film I have ever seen. It is almost worth watching for this incredible 'twist'!
