I've been an Eat Static fan from the beginning, way back before their split from 'Ozric Tentacles'. Merv, Joie, and Steve always deliver. 'Alien Artifacts' is based on earlier unreleased material. I did not know this when I purchased the C.D. but wasn't worried when it was delivered and found out. I've never heard a bad release from these guys. Each track is shear brilliance. Tight beats and killer filler to weird out each groove and punish your woofers from start to finish. It's also a testiment to just how deep they are musically. Unreleased tracks of this texture and quality are quite a statement! Buy without hesitation.
