Alicia M Kaye is a writer of romantic fiction. She grew up in Australia, in sunny Queensland on a canal side property with her family. Her family home was walking distance from Surfers Paradise, on the Gold Coast.
At twenty-four years old, Alicia jumped on a plane and relocated to London. The move was only supposed to be for two years, but seven and a half years later, she was still living there with her husband. She's written books in Thailand, Malta, Austria and of course the UK.
Alicia is not just a writer she's also an animal lover. She would love to own a pet but her nomad life will not permit one. Alicia used to write in the company of her year old, boisterous, fostered cat named Buttons. His online RSPCA profile (much like a dating site) attracted a flurry of attention from perspective new parents. A couple picked him up, called him Clarence and Alicia was left alone with the realisation that writing can indeed be a lonely profession. That's when she tried to encourage the stray cats of Highbury to take his place. She's found that offering cream or tuna fish has ensured frequent visits from a large, ginger tomcat (Sunny) and a mangy, black cat (Dark Knight).
Her titles include Skinny Dipping (February 2014) a second place winner of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards and Skinny Cappuccino (available in August 2014). She is currently working on further companion novels in the Skinny Sagas.
