Product Description

Alice begins her fantastic journey by following an unprecedented White Rabbit with a pocket watch. While in the topsy turvy world of Wonderland, Alice takes advice from a caterpillar and attends a mad tea party. She meets the Mock Turtle and the Gryphon, and participates in a ludicrous courtroom scene. Each character has its own charming voice, as B. J. Harrison delivers one of his most whimsical performances.

Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, 'and what is the use of a book,' tho Read the first page

I picked this book up again aged 26 having not read it for 15 years and it transported me to a magical, mystical world where anything was possible! Lewis Carroll's classic tale of childhood fantasy is a must read for all children and adults alike! Carroll's art lies in description...allow him to indulge you in tales of Mad Hatters having tea parties with White Rabbits in the woods, the terrifying Queen of Hearts threatening to behead the body-less Cheshire Cat and lotions and potions saying 'Drink Me'...will she grow or will she shrink...read the book to find out!

if there are no pictures it's not an interesting book ;o) Thandfully this edition of Alice has the most wonderful pictures! Detailed enough to help my nearly 4 year old recount teh chapter she has just heard with no prompts from me. However, that's not why it gets 5 stars from me, the real bunus to me was that it is printed onto cream paper with clear space between the lines of text making it much easier on this tired mummy's eyes at the end of the day :o)

I've seen all the versions of Alice in Wonderland but by far, this is the best version of Alice there is. When i was young me and my cousin used to watch it everyday, even though the end with Alice facing the Jabberwocky scared us. Now even though we are both in our twenties, we still watch it. It follows the original Lewis Carrol story to an extend, but its full of excitment, mystery and wierdness with an all star cast. Natalie Gregory who plays 7 year old Alice is an excellent choice for the role. The best part in the film is when she tap dances with the ledgendary Sammy Davis Jr to "Old Father William". It appeals to both young and old and I always look forward to watching it over and over again.
