Product Description

About the Author

David Vaughan Icke, pronounced is a British writer and public speaker who has devoted himself since 1990 to researching "who and what is really controlling the world." A former professional football player, reporter, television sports presenter, and spokesman for the Green Party, he is the author of 20 books explaining his views. Icke argues that he has developed a moral and political worldview that combines New Age spiritualism with a passionate denunciation of what he sees as totalitarian trends in the modern world, a position that has been described as "New Age conspiracism." At the heart of Icke's theories is the view that the world is ruled by a secret group called the "Global Elite" or "Illuminati," which he has linked to The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an antisemitic hoax. In 1999, he published The Biggest Secret, in which he wrote that the Illuminati are a race of reptilian humanoids known as the Babylonian Brotherhood, and that many prominent figures are reptilian, including George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, Kris Kristofferson, and Boxcar Willie.

David Icke's reputation precedes him to a point where reading his work in an unprejudiced way is difficult. I've tried, and can only say that this book has been a revelation.

Following on from his study of a claimed political conspiracy in books I have not read, Mr Icke pieces together explanations of the mentality behind the current government of the United States and many other countries. I have not read these, and don't think you need to: this one can stand alone. The reasons behind war are investigated, and shocking precedents in which avoidable wars have been created with enthusiasm are shown. So where does this fit in with the World Trade Centre disaster ? Well, it wasn't bin Laden, it was planned by people in the US.

This bold, crazy, impossible statement turns out to be amazingly well supported. Icke may be considered an eccentric, even a charlatan, but his research is thorough and as the book shows, he does masses of it. While doing so he has uncovered some verifiable evidence which makes it undeniable: it wasn't Al Qaeda !

While presenting this evidence he is keen to make sure his evidence is clear, easy to understand, and conclusive. Incredibly, there's loads of it, and he's thorough with all of it. If there's a criticism, it's of his frequent, heartfelt colloquial remarks and the odd 'bollocks' etc. which enables his sceptics/critics to continue to sideline him as the unorthodox he is. I find his research and presentation otherwise to be thorough, compelling, well written and utterly devastating. I find it hard to argue that he isn't, ultimately, right in his claims.

If you don't trust Bush, Blair, etc., read this book to see why you were instinctively sceptical.

I would urge anyone with an interest in this subject to read this, in fact anyone who suspects the official line. David Icke certainly does his research, and there are plenty of notations if you want to cross-reference and look things up further. Presumably, if you already read David's books, you will probably have read this already but if not, give this one a go. I don't think you need to have read any of his previous books as this is so well written. Having said that, he did actually predict such an event in his previous books (The Biggest Secret I think, another great book). Read this, and you will never think the same again. Another great book covering this subject is David Ray Griffin's "The New Pearl Harbour" (plus he has other books regarding the same subject).

David Icke's reputation precedes him and the misinformed might be hesitant to pick this masterpiece up simply because David is the author but, do yourself a massive favour and get this....things won't be the same again. Probably the most thoroughly researched and info packed 9/11 book available, this just doesn't cover the events of 9/11 but the characters involved ( political or otherwise )the background to linked event and all inbetween. This is heavy going simply because of the intricate web of factors. It's presented in an easy going style and is utterly compulsive and very hard to put down once started.

Sceptics or those who are unable to comprehend that the Governments ( yes Blair as well ) could be 'involved' will try and rubbish the content simply because David's other works have involved some hard to grasp theories. Don't be fooled, the details are logically presented, the 9/11 events unfolded and the sheer cover up exposed in a reader friendly manner.

If you have any interest in the 9/11 disaster, this book MUST be your first point of call. The only problem with it is that this book makes many of the other existing 9/11 books seem half hearted and missing something.

David Icke has a winner here

I "discovered" David Icke while listening to a radio chat show about 9/11 and decided I HAD to get this book, which I did.
WHAT AN EYE OPENER!
I agree with the other reviewers that A LOT of research has gone into this book, but one should also not be blinded by it, because there is STILL a lot of speculation which creeps through after strong arguments based on facts. But even if only ten percent of what is written in this book is true, it would be enough to convince anyone with a functioning brain that the US and British governments are guilty as hell. A monumental lie, indeed.
But since the publication of this book, a number of other books on the topic have also been written, which are arguably better than this one. Two titles come to mind, namely "The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11" by David R. Griffin, ASIN/1844370364 and the excellent "Behind the War on Terror: Western Secret Strategy and the Struggle for Iraq" by Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed, ASIN/1902636449.
This book is good, make no mistake, but better ones have appeared. If, of course, you are a fan of David Icke, this will be right up your ally, as it is possibly his best book ever.

This is my second Icke book.

It is a painstakingly researched investigation of the World Trade Center Disaster and includes all possible background material about Bush, the bloodlines, DNA corruption, the Illuminati and so forth i.e. the basic "Ickeian" information the author feels is indispensable.

With all the inconsistencies, withheld information, downright lies, etc, etc exposed by Icke, you would have to be mind-controlled or brain dead not to be 100% convinced of the total lack of veracity of the official explanation of the World Trade Center Disaster after reading this book from cover to cover, or even one complete chapter (if a braindead person can read, that is). The problem is that you would not be able to get the majority of people to even attempt to read this book. They would prefer to remain in ignorant bliss and continue to lead their superficial, "sheepie" (if that is Icke's word) lives.

I was beginning to think that we were going to be spared/by-pass the reptilian theme, but no. Icke reverts to the matter in the final chapter, and each time I read it I take it in more and more. And I'd have been disappointed if the reptilian material had been lacking. But whatever, don't let the reptiles deflect you from the absolutely undeniable truth about the WTC attack.

Again, the author's final message is: Love and respect yourself, Love and respect all things, Love is the answer. One of his final statements is: I love you, George Bush.

I agree with the totality of the views Icke presents. This is an amazing truth-presenting book written by an immensely gifted, knowledgeable and insightful man. Read it if you dare!
