I have just finished reading this book and found it a very pleasurable read. There is never a dull moment throughout the book and you are kept intrigued until the very end. I think this book will appeal to both men and women as it is not a 'girlie' book at all. It is a funny and amusing story about the adventures of Alice Little and her gay best friend, Conor, as they try to make it as restaurant entrepreneurs. Alice refuses to give up although she faces many trials and tribulations. Just when she thinks things are going well she finds herself in another predicament.
