There are two gorgeous men, Jack and Kel, who are after her, one utterly reliable, one charming and mysterious. Unlike the other bombshell titles I've read, there is a well written romance throughout the entire book, plenty of plot, mystery and suspense. I really liked this book, and usually I find Harlequins poorly written. This book was the exception, and is definitely a keeper.
All in all, a good action book-I would have given it five stars except the romance, in my opinion, could have been better, and the heroine was a bit aggrevating with her die hard reluctance to getting the police involved-even though big time crimes were being committed.
I'd recommend this short, exciting read to romance fans who like tough, take charge female leads, and equally tough heroes. 4 stars.
As my daughter said, "that's what you get for thinking." The storyline begins confusing and while all the Sisters are supposedly united they are all really not and it just goes downhill from there. I am quite surprised some of the authors didn't beg to have their actual names removed from the titles. I can live with the whole Sci Fi aspect of the story. I can even live with the whole "I am woman hear me roar." I cannot live without a defined HAPPY ENDING!!!! Some of the titles are not defined. I have to live with real life every single day, I don't want to pay to see it or read it. If it were a perfect world Romantic Suspense, in any form, wouldn't be so popular. I don't pay to read books where there is any chance of an unsettled ending and some of the books in this series are definitely not defined and unsettled. Life isn't a box of chocolates, but the books I buy darn well better be!!!
