Ali G--Aiii also features Cohen's newest character Borat, a reporter from Kazakhstani television who is producing a guide to Britain for his viewers back home. Amazingly, Cohen ran into trouble with the Kazakhstani embassy in Britain over his portrait of the bumbling reporter with only the faintest grasp of English, but in fact it's the Brits he interviews who patronise Borat who come off a lot worse. (See, for example, the embarrassed silence which greets Borat's attempt at introductory small talk at a society dinner party: "My wife, she is dead"!) Like the rest of the show, there is a smart satiric edge to the comedy but it's also very, very funny. Ali introduces the compilation, keepin' it real with a promise that profits from the sale of the video will be channelled back into the Staines ghetto. --Edward Lawrenson
New footage includes Ali in the U.S. with NASA and the National Rifle Association and features Paul Daniels and Peter Stringfellow in interview. Also on this video, the most memorable moments from Da Ali G Show - interviews with guests Gail Porter, Mohammed Al Fayed and Jarvis Cocker, Ali G at the Cannes Porn Film Festival and much more.

Interviews are definately Ali's strong point and is emphasised by questions to Gail Porter such as 'me heard you got a HND.....have you been to the clinic to check it out?'. This preceedes Ali singing 'every breath you take' into Gail's eyes (unmissable comedy!).
The new bits are fantastic too, Ali shows concern for children getting into drugs "the most worrying thing about drugs is that it actually makes you like house music!" This follows his respect for animals and ideas for future politics ; "do you think in five years animals will be able to vote?"
The video is a fine collection of the Da Ali G show and has a few extra bits that werent shown on tv. All in all definately worth getting , especially if you like his previous video 'innit'!
The only criticism is the dire studio sketches and studio interviews which the guests come on only to boost their already self-obsessed personalities(Mohamed Al Fayed, Paul Daniels, Gail Porter) ... all the directly scripted bits are awful.
Cohen becomes a comedy giant only when he is improvising - best shown with his hilarious 'Borat' character and Ali interviews (FBI, Wildlife and Drugs just couldn't have been pulled off any better).
