I downloaded and trailed the software first and loved it. However when I installed this product, though the same in name, in practice it has a different lay out and lacks several key features. I got used to it after a while - was happy with it for a couple of weeks until it developed a glitch which means it no longer recognises any of my 3 headphones (which it did initially) so I can't hear the tracks I'm lining up, which defeats the object of getting. Now it is just a waste of memory space.

Awesome product. Inside 1 month, I've managed to go from absolute beginner to impressing my friends and work mates with some solid mixes.
You can do almost everything with DJay 3 that you can do with CDJs and a mixer, there's so many functions. I bought the product just to try it out and see if it is something I could do and enjoy.
I've had a blast and will move up the scale by buying a midi system to add some functionality. A midi system is required if you wish to perform two functions closely together or at the same time, like pushing/pulling the turntable/jogwheel and moving the pitch controller. The pitch controller is difficult to move a small amount (and it often jumps) which does make beat-matching tricky. If this was improved, I'd give it a 5/5!
As an introductory product to DJing or to produce your own professional standard mixed playlists/CDs, this product is amazing value.
