Excellent book 22 Jan 2009
Format:Paperback
This is an excellent book for those who want to resurrect their algebra or as a revision book for those who are currently studying maths but find it a struggle. If you have a natural flair for maths then perhaps this is not for you. It spells out each step in a calculation which is often not found in books for the highly numerate.

Highly recommended 10 July 2010
Format:Paperback
If you struggle with basic algebra, this is the book for you. It spells out EVERY step, unlike most other books that do several steps at once, and assume that you follow all the steps that are not shown. It shows you each step separately which is nice. If you find maths easy this will irritate you, but if you struggle it really does help. There are lots of examples and lots of practice questions, and I like the fact that there is plenty of room on the page to write your answers and workings. Highly recommended.

Brilliant... 13 May 2011

Everyone appears to have said everything. This book lays it all out for you, I purchased this book for my 11 & 13 year old & they do a page of equations a day. It does demystify Algebra, even I can follow it, I also liked the fact it recapped on fractions at the beginning before getting to the nitty gritty. If my kids can follow it anyone can. Great book, definitely for beginners or if you want to recap & expand on your existing knowledge. Recommended...
