Fantastic read for kids of all ages 18 Feb 2011

I highly recommend that anyone with children take a look at Alfie Potts. (I wish this book had been available when I was a kid - yes quite some time ago!) A great book to read with children young and old alike. Parents and children have lots to take on board with this story. It is refreshing to find an author who knows how kids minds work and tells the story accordingly. What is essentially a book about a young boy who makes the most of the school holidays....it shows the way so that children who start young can do anything they want BUT have to work at it to get results. I feel this book would be a great addition to any school library. I understand there will be more Alfie Potts books this year and I can't wait to read the next instalment.

I have read Alfie Potts several times and learned loads of cool stuff. It inspired me to start a business selling plants to earn money! Lewis Edmonds age 11.

I loved everything about this book- the way it is written and illustrated and of course the very valuable message that it gives to children, and it is great that Alfie has his Dad as his Role Model to guide him on his way!
A must for all children- cant wait for the next books in the series
