'Full of adventure and humour, these are not just for boys, but for all young readers who love aliens, heroes, football and go-karting.' (The London Parents Guide, Dec 2000 )

Product Description

Alex doesn't mean to cause trouble. He didn't mean to cover his dad with pink yoghurt, or drop the goldfish in the bath. He just couldn't help it! Alex's mum and dad ask him to keep out of trouble just for one day ... so the sideways skateboard isn't SUCH a bad idea, is it?

From football to go karting, and real heroes and aliens, Books for Boys are packed with high action, adventure and humour, ideal for turning reluctant boy readers into lifelong bookworms. Ideal for fans of HARRY AND THE DINOSAURS who are ready to move on to chapter books.

Amusing read! 3 Jan 2010
By Sarah
Format:Paperback
Bought this for our son for Christmas, who in the meantime broke his arm! An amusing read, he is enjoying it very much. I would estimate the 'read-alone age' as 7-9 yrs, but it would make a good bedtime story for younger or not-so-confident readers.

Good book 29 Mar 2010
Format:Paperback
I bought this for my son as I thought he would like it, but for him, not enought pictures or action going on. I think it would be good for 5-6 year olds. He is older and prefers star wars/fighting books with colour pictures

Enjoyable book 3 July 2010
Format:Paperback
Got this book for my 7yr old who is a wee book worm. He enjoyed it and thinks it was a good book but he didn't think it was as good as some other books he has read. Having said that he did think it was okay but I think he likes books with a bit more humour.
