This is a quality item, solid materials and of course nice Alessi design. Great Xmas or birthday present.
I have two problems with it though:
1. It's too small. It should take about twice the number off cotton buds. You have to refill it in many small loads and keep your tub of cottons buds separately, which is annoying. The mean size makes the price a little too high.
2. It doesn't quite work like it should. I think it needs more prongs to act as spacers (and to keep the buds upright). You never get the nice, fanned out display of cotton buds as you lift the lid. Needs a rethink and a version two IMO.

The product is a little over priced but it's functional and looks great in our bathroom. This is a fun treat for Alessi fans!

Q-tip Fun plus surprise

This is another visually appealing holder from Alessi. It is too much fun. There is a design flaw though, the cup holding the swabs does not have enough weight to keep it on the counter when you pull up the head for a Q-tip... and the swabs certainly don't have any weight at all. So it becomes a two hand effort, not as convenient as it could be. The surprise is that it has a little male member, revealed when you pull up the little guy. I guess that's the Pisellino part.

Brighter Orange than it looks in photo

While this is still a cute q-tip holder, the orange is much brighter than the soft orange it appears in the photo. Loading this with q-tips is a little tricky.

Cute and functional

This is a great Q-tip holder! There is also a little "suprise" inside. Super cute, and makes a great addition to our bathrom. I love Alessi designs, and this one does not disappoint!
