Great heavyweight corkscrew. This is my primary corkscrew at home and (without sounding like an alcoholic!) it puts up with quite a bashing. It looks great and lots of people have commented on it as it is so distinctly "Alessi". My only neutral/negative would be to avoid screwing the cork too deeply as it can be a bit of a fiddle to remove it from her "skirt" otherwise!

This is made in China not in Italy like all the other Alessi items that I have.
Also, I received an empty box from Amazon with no corkscrew in it. So disappointed and pissed... Amazon said that they are resending the item but that's not the point. The point is that I needed the item for a birthday present 2 months ago and I am still waiting for it to arrive.
