This is a wonderful read and would make a really excellent movie - top marks to Lon Milo Duquette for his work here. I couldn't put it down and sincerely hope it does get released as a movie.
As with every book, one has to consider the viewpoint of the author(s) and this comes across strongly as part of the OTO Aleister Crowley rehabilitation program that has been running for a while - not a bad thing as there have been so many negative-biased biographies in the past.

Absolutely loved this book! i have always suspected there was more to Mr Crowley than the "wickedest man " tag and this book reveals a sweet, almost mischeivous side to his character! I really enjoyed this authors unique style, telling the story as the basis for a film-and I wish this book would be made into a film!! Well written, interesting and amusing I would highly recommend this book. If you enjoy this book I would also recommend The Devils Paint Brush which also has a very interesting and refreshing view on Aleister Crowleys' fascinating character.
