Format:Audio CD
This is a real gem of an album that no-one who likes Baroque music should ignore. It is packed with beautiful, vivid and lively melodies that you will find yourself humming for a while afterwards. For some reason Albinoni's Adagios alone are famous while the remainder of his concerti are seemingly ignored. This CD really makes one wonder why that is the case: much of the joy of his music is in the brisk Allegros. The playing throughout has real joie-de-vivre which is infectious. Music to take to your desert island.

This is one of 3 Albinoni CDs by Collegium Musicum 90 on the Chandos label. They are all superb. The music is excellent, sounding very fresh and clear. Glorious playing. A must have for your collection!
