This was the best of three books I bought for a recent trip to Canada. The others covered all of the country, and with Canada being so big, they only managed to cover the main cities. I travelled to Western Canada and originally planned to just visit Calgary and Edmonton, but after reading about the other areas of the province, I visited some out of the way places such as Drumheller, famous as a one time home of dinosaurs. This book covered this and all areas in great detail but was also interesting to read. As well as attractions, the author recommends places to stay and where to eat. It's obvious he's done extensive research as he was spot on in all my experiences, writing about places that I would have normally bypassed, yet I took his advice and was never dissappointed.
