I would readily commend this little book as an introduction to an often overlooked and poorly understood part of Scotland's history. Nicely put together and well illustrated.

Alba 1 Dec 2010
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
"Alba" was very good. I bought it to help me with my course on "The Brilliance of the Dark Ages" but it was also very interesting to read. It explained a lot about the history of Scotland in simple terms with useful pictures.
