5.0 out of 5 stars The answer to broken nails 3 April 2014
By Steve

I didn't hold out much hope for this product, so only ordered one. In fact it is excellent. The secret is its ability to hook behind the remnant of the broken nail to form a firm but flexible 'nail' to pick with. You can sand it down to match the length of the other nails, or to your ideal length. I immediately ordered two more and now don't have to suffer the paranoia surrounding nail care. Obviously they aren't as sensitive as a natural nail, but they provide a great solution to a broken nail.

4.0 out of 5 stars Preferred to steel picks 4 Jan 2014

Given the fragility of my fingernails, these come in handy. They take less getting used to than steel picks because they emulate the nail. You do need a little nail left to locate them, however.

4.0 out of 5 stars No substitute for real nails but... 14 Dec 2013

...if you break a nail and need them for a gig then, as long as there is a bit left these will tuck under and they sound OK. But you will also need time to get used to them. If you plan to use them long term instead of real nails I'm sure you will be able to adjust. But don't lose them!
