Ilove this tin. It makes making a batternberg so easy. just grease and flour the tin and it will not stick. Use a two egg recipe for sponge.

Thought this was an extravagance but will certainly pay for itself in less tin foil used to divide a normal tin up. Cake came out with no junks left behind so didn't even need greaseproof. Only one word of advice - don't use a three egg mixture, far too much and had quite a bit to cut off to make even, but the cut-offs got eaten. Have never had problems with Silverwood products in the past so can recommend them. I prefer to experiment with different combinations than be traditional - chocolate is very popular at home and work. I think the next one I'm going to try is coffee walnut.

battenburg tin
Excellent tin, silverwood products are always good, bake evenly and wash very easily. Makes a good sized battenburg cake, bigger than shop bought ones, and recipe included.
