one of the greatest films i have ever seen. This is a documentary style film, which explains the life, the childhood of this great personality in islam. Imam Ghazali has most certainly earned the title of "proof of islam"
the transformation, and imam ghazali's final poem changes the heart of humans, and forces one to view death, as not death, but a new life.

to my mind this DVD is better watched after reading the book of the same title
you might understand as i have done more about this Great Man Imam Al Gazzali and the intention of those good men and women in making such a documentery/film

An excellent biography of an amazing individual. Hujjat-ul-Islam is the title Imam Ghazali earned. It means The Proof of Islam, a title given to him in recognition of his successful attempt at synthesising and integrating the many manifesttions of Islam, namely Theology, Sacred Law and Tasawuf. The dvd also contains interviews with various scholars from around the globe, including Sheikhs Hamza Yusuf and Abdul Hakim Murad.
