3.0 out of 5 stars Its ok 15 April 2013

I received this in hope that I could replace the intel stock cooler with it, however I found that my idle and load temperatures were actually hotter and the fan itself wasn't actually any quieter. The system I used this is wasn't over clocked and it was being used to cool a Pentium G630T so it shouldn't have as much of a problem but it seems it does.

If you expect having low cooler and some silcence inside the box - don't expect too much, or you'll be disappointed... ;-)

This is an excellent space saver fan for Intel-based super small Mini-ITX cases where you have so little room that the stock fan that comes with your Intel processor is too big for the case. Ultra quiet too !

5.0 out of 5 stars A cheap cure for a windows start up Problem 26 April 2013
Verified Purchase
my desktop started to play up and wouldn`t complete the boot sequence.I read online that the problem could be CPU overheating and they suggested repasting the CPU interface with fan.In trying to remove it I broke one of the legs on the fan,but found that this whole assembly was less than any repair shop and was easily completed in about 15mins.Came with surfaces already pasted.

Makes a bit of noise but cools ok and is very low profile and does not cover ram and pci slots in mini itx builds. Oh and its very cheap but quite nicely made

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful little cooler 31 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase
I purchased this for a micro ATX build and the darn thing was TINY didn't think it'd do the job of cooling my main gaming machine but i was very surprised at how well it did the job, CPU kept at a good temperature, had this running for quite a few months would highly recommend it.

I've actually now moved this cooled cause I also build a mini ATX computer to be my internet router, I have 110% faith that this will outlast any other cooler hence my decision to plonk it in their with the faith that it will last for years.

This cooler is more dependant on your case more than anything, if you have 2-3 cm room above the motherboard then yeah get this but if you're rocking a micro atx instead of a mini atx i imagine you could actually splash for something a fairly larger and more substantial than this.
