We have had one of these for many years, and it is still working splendidly after several younger and more expensive devices have packed up. It's very light - all-plastic construction - and fairly compact, although perhaps not quite as small as some of the latest devices. The speakers give good sound, and the volume can be turned up way past the point where it would be enjoyable to anyone in the same house. Pop and classical music can both be enjoyed, although of course at this price it's not exactly hi-fi. CDs are loaded by releasing the spring catch on the top, which pops up allowing you to put the CD in downwards - helpful if it isn't located very high up and you don't want to bend. Analogue reception is good in our location with the provided aerials, although of course it's better to get a feed from a roof-mounted aerial or a cable supplier. Strongly recommended.
