As a fan of the steampunk and dieselpunk genres, I was happy to find Myke's book. His artwork is inspiring, and the title is very accurate. About 50% of the book includes images of wonderful airships, most of which are zepplins and similar aircraft. The latter half of the book includes more alien-like creatures, from seahorse-men and Lovecraftian designs. I wonder if the artist included some earlier artworks, because the feel behind some of the images is disjointed compared to other sleek designs. Overall, I am very pleased with this book. It fulfills my intended purpose- to inspire imagination of the genres, from multiple angles, colors, and interpretations of a futuristic world beholden to strange or unusual powers.
