I found the Airport Spotting Guide very usefull as i go to a lot of Airports taking photos of planes.
The book tells you where to go and what are the best vantage points to get near to the planes to get your photos.

Super little book which guides you through each airport with hints and directions to most viewing areas in or around airports. Details of all the airlines that use the airports. I would have found it useful to know which airports are covered before buying so here they are amsterdam, athens, barcelona, brussels, cologne, dublin,dusselsorf, frankfurt, geneva, hamburg,helsinki,lisbon,london gatwick-heathrow-stansted-luton, madrid,manchester,milan linate & malpensa,munich, palma, paris cdg&orly, rome, stockholm, toulouse, vienna and zurich. These are all covered in some detail with basic diagram and directions to spotting areas. also details as too how close you can get and what equipement you may need also atc frequencies; location of nearby hotels etc. Also covered in lesser details are these low cost airports hahn, milan bergamo, rome ciampino, shannon and warsaw.
For anyone planning a one or two day flying visit to any of these airports I think this book is a must to aid your planning.
