I had to superglue one small wooden peg on one of the aircraft wheels as it came out. The wheels on the fire engine are not particularily strong just screwing into the wood and aren't completely straight. Other than that all the parts are pretty robust and the airport is a lot of fun. We have Thomas the Tank engine and friends wooden railway exchanging passengers with planes at the airport now so our house is full of the buzz of aircraft and the puffing of trains. You get 3 passenger jet airliners, something that might resemble a civilian Hercules propeller aircraft, a light propeller aircraft (it's a stunt plane you know ;-) ) and a helicopter capable of picking up cargo boxes using magnets. These cargo boxes also fit on baggage trucks and tractor.

A lovely product well worth the money in my opinion. The mat itself is well made like all of the Be Active mats out there they are non slip and if you roll it up to be kept in the cupboard it unrolls flat and stays flat so no tripping up on the curled up corners like some. Considering my next Be Active road mat next! The aircraft in my opinion are just extras they are great lovely little wooden toys as long as they are not thrown about too much! This works well if you have a wooden airport too my son loves to add his and will play all afternoon with his Dad try keeping him away! A real bonus if you want some peace and sit in acorner with a book watching them play!

I agree with other reviewers, the product is good especially the mat. However, even as I pulled the wooden toys out of their packaging 2 had arrived broken and another broke later. They are poorly glued together and should have been screwed together instead. But the playmat is great and as another reviewed advised, buy some glue and the product will be lots of fun for your planespotting toddler.
