I did not expect much of this movie, to the cheap price of 0.14 when i bought it.

But i was surprised by the very realistic special effect in the movie.

The story is very simple. But it was very entertaining.

Its not die hard 4 special effect, but its close.

2.0 out of 5 stars Mockbuster 23 Jan 2013
By Iain S. Palin TOP 1000 REVIEWER
This film is a mockbuster - a low-budget offering that tackles a big-film theme without the resources to do it justice but which sells because it's close enough to the real thing (and its DVD cover certainly looks like the real thing) to appeal to buyers. Mockbusters aren't all bad: some are reasonably good, some are terrible, some are so bad they're funny, and some are just, well, OK. "Airline Disaster" has some good points - and some really cringe-making bad ones. What follows is full of SPOILER INFO.

The storyline is actually good enough for a real blockbuster action movie: revolutionary new plane making its first passenger flight and piloted by the brother of the President of the Unites States is taken over by hijackers (who also take the pilot's family hostage by way of insurance). Can the feisty female Secret Service agent who has escaped the hijackers regain control of the plane before the President has to order it shot down to stop it crashing into Washington DC? Will the FBI rescue the family in time? Will the crippled plane be able to make a dramatic but ultimately safe last minute crash-landing? Will there be lots of tense Situation Room discussions, deployment of high-tech gadgetry, fighting, shooting, near-misses, intermittent death and destruction, and a cheesy ending? Of course the answer is "yes" to all the above.

Given the right budget and production this could therefore have been a good action film. But, alas, the money didn't run to decent CGI. Or sets, costumes, or equipment. The lazy scripting makes no attempt to explain obvious plot holes (starting with how come a whole gang of neo-Nazis got themselves and their weapons onto this secure flight? Especially since they look so much like baddies, right down to the gang mark tattooed their faces?).
