I bought this as a christmas present for my 11 year old son and he loves it! The quality is great and it's what I would expect from a long established company. I would definately buy more airfix models for my son, and have done recently as he loves them!

My Grandson who is 8 is very pleased with this gift and seems more than able to cope with the construction necessary.

I bought this kit because I liked the look of all the kits and airfix don't make a fairly battle kit any more so I picked it up for £20, I decided to open up the hurricane first and I wasn't dissapointed. I don't expect much detail from these kits as with airfix the quality does seem to drop on group kits. It was a good enough quality, painting dental floss and stretching it from the tail to the body to show the rudder wires makes for a authentic model. After I had finished all the other kits it left the Blenheim to do. At a glance it had long wings, two engines and other sundry pieces. I opened it and saw the canopy was that of a Hampton. I immediately droppped the kit and filled out a spares enquiry form at airfix.com. At this point I choose to give my praise to airfix and there speedy and completely free and easy spares. When I dove deeper into the kit I found that I had taken one look at the canopy and overlooked that the whole kit was another Hampton... I refilled out the spares form to get a full Blenheim kit delivered the next day. After proudly placing all the finished models on my table I marvelled at their easy to follow instructions, good detail and overall quality that is expected for a kit of this price. I didn't use the paints included as I think that proper paint is better but for a present this is ideal as the Victoria cross element provides some reading as well with the included panflip things.

Smaller models are not as good quality as the medium. Would be complete with a Lancaster included but overall a good deal

Very nice models I have made the hurricane and making the fairly battle but can tell already will look good especially with all the right paints in the set, this is very good value if bought separately would be a lot more to buy.

This set is very good value for money, the aircraft are not airfix's newest but certainly look good when built. The acrylic paint that comes with the kit are alright but it looks a lot better when sprayed.
