Good Fun - Takes Me Back to My Younger Days!! 9 Jan 2011

Good service from the seller. I used to build many Airfix kits as a boy and purchased this set when my son started getting interested in aircraft and saw some of the models in the shops. We both had good fun building the kits. The level of detail was excellent and they went together fairly well. There was the odd join that didn't align exactly perfectly - but this was always part of the challenge with these kits! I was impressed with the paints that are supplied in the box. They went on very easily and were sufficiently dry in 5-10 minutes allowing another colour to be applied. This certainly cut down the time it took to finish the kits. The models now sit on my son's windowsill and he is keen to build some more.

good all round beginner kit. not too difficult to build or paint.set comes complete with paints glue and brushes which was an excellent extra. all in all well worth it.
