Ok so for 12 Pounds this is a Bargin. the model is 1/72 scale some people complain that 1/72 scale is small but... the harrier is bigger than a spitfire (in real life) so if you buy a spitfire kit thats 1/72 scale and a harrier thats 1/72 scale the harrier will be somewhat bigger..so you can get an idea that some are bigger than others (in real life) so just becouse you get a spitfire in 1/72 scale and you think its small dosent meen that another 1/72 will be the same size...as for this model is pretty big (for a 1/72) so thats 1 great thing..also the detail is pretty decent..the parts are perfect..Oh! also( if you see a airfix kit in the blue type packaging like this harrier that is airfixes new box style and they also contain new toolings (meening its been remade using up to date moulds) so the qaulity will be much better than the airfix classic kits from the 1970s with all thoughs nasty rivets and raised panel lines. anyway.. as for the harrier it is superb and if painted corectly it looks very acurate and the cockpit detail is fairly good(you can scratch build the cockpit if you want with photo etch parts but thats if your prepared to spend the xtra money on them.. the paint included are perfect there not the old type thar are all dry and sticky there very new..and as for the brushes they are ok but you can always buy some humbrol brushes (pref. humbrol evoco) the decals are easy to do until you get to all the little fiddley ones ...witch need a lot of patience...im very good at modelling but when it gets to the point with to many decals i just leave them out) also you get a nice diorama of a runway(its card but it look nice) and in the background it tells you all the specs of the aircraft and the history of it..the glue is fine..all in all its is a great model i would say its fairly easy in my opinion...but for younger ones its quit fidely in some parts so.be carefull take your time and youn will have a fairly accurate model of a BAe Systems Harrier FA.2 :) Hope i didant bore you too much hahaha
