I used to have lots of the Airfix soldiers when I was younger and so purchased these for my son when he showed an interest in playing with soldiers. The actual figures are very well detailed and there was a good selection of poses. However, they seem very light-weight compared to how I remember them and they also appear to be more brittle. This lack of durability, coupled with the fact that you only get 14 figures in a box, means that they are expensive if purchased as a toy. They look much better than the cheap '100 soldiers for £5' ones that you can buy but younger children probably won't appreciate the difference.
