I was a huge fan of airfix 1:72 scale soldiers as a 9 year old. 30 years on and a Dad to a 9 year old boy, I bought some of these for him. They brought back great memories of huge battles but more importantly my son gets a lot of enjoyment from playing with these.
Sure in this day & age it may not be seen as PC for kids to play war, but the fact is that boys will be boys & they like to re-enact these epic battles!
Would recommend for 8+ definitely not younger as very small parts.

This set is very good! The historical accuracy is spot on, the durability is good, the design is of a high standard, and the variety of poses is impressive!
If you would like to complete any WWII set (in fact, I painted these guys black and used them as SAS soldiers to add to my Modern Warfare diorama!) or for any other reason (!) then I recommend buying this today!
