Interactive Exercises: To help you absorb the material being covered in each section, a series of regular tests containing questions chosen at random from a computer-stored list appears on each CD. "Drag & Drop" exercises, numerical calculations and multiple choice questions are all provided with immediate feedback. Worked solutions regularly appear after you have attempted the activity.
Mock Examinations: Mock examinations help you to prepare for your final examinations. The results from the mock exams are divided into course material sections allowing you to identify areas for improvement. Model solutions are also provided.
Interactive Laboratory: The Interactive Laboratory sections allow you to apply the lessons that you have learned to various real-life situations (e.g., triggering a simulated earthquake and observing the way in which monitoring stations locate the epicentre; air-dropping a supplies package and attempting to hit the target; or investigating the way that nuclear reactors are controlled).
