This is a pretty comprehensive survey of air rifles with special reference to the older models and heavy emphasis on British & European ones. You can identify variations within the model, and serial number information, where it exists, as well as some mechanical do's and don't's . It complements WHB Smith's 'Gas, Air & Spring Guns Of The World' which hasn't been revised since the 1960s and is very out-of-date now. There is little in print about air rifles, and this looks like being a standard work. The photography is b&w and not really up to the standard one could expect with modern desktop publishing. Printed in 1995, the suggested gun values reflect that era and shouldn't be taken much notice of.
