Ordered one of these from QVC, it came with 2 sets of batteries which lasted for approx 10 minutes worth of video each. I then used some high capacity rechargeable ones which didn't last much longer. One of the problems is that when the batteries run low the camera turns itself off without warning, and then restarts with anything you were recording ending up corrupted. It looks good, but is not very ergonomic. It is difficult to hold and use the buttons (2 hands often required). It is also very easy to cover the flash and video lights on the front with your fingers. If the person filming happens to talk, their voice is recorded considerably louder than the surrounding audio, as the microphone is directly on top of the camera. For some reason that I didn't quite get to the bottom of, my computer (which is a little old but fully functional) had a lot of problems with connecting to the camera and also playing the recorded video. For information the video clips are recorded in *.ASF format. The wrist strap attaches at the top and I found this annoying, it would have been better at the side or bottom. The video taken indoors was a little grainy, but on the plus side the outdoor clips were of a decent quality for a camera of this price range.
For the price I wasn't expecting it to be brilliant, but I also didn't expect to have to take out share's in Duracell.
