Aiptek combined docking and charging station with Speakers
Aiptek expanded the accessories for its Pico Projector series PocketCinema T10, T15, V10, V10 Pro and V10 Plus. The SoundStation is an innovative 3-in-1 solution and combined charging station, docking station and speakers in one unit.
Enhanced sound quality by stereo speakers
Aiptek PocketCinema Sound Station is a 3-in-1 loudspeaker docking station for wall (horizontal) and ceiling (vertical) projection. With this product you can improve the performances of your projector for a best playback experience. Thanks to the two embedded stereo speakers the station guarantees an enhanced sound quality. You can choose to playback contents from the projector internal memory but you can also projecting files from external player through the AV-cable. Furthermore the SoundStation supports external audio sources.
Simple to use
The product is very simple to use: just place the projector into the projector holder (horizontal or vertical), connect the station AV cable to the AV jack of your projector and turn on both Sound Station and the projector by pressing their power button. Also during operation, the batteries in the Pico projectors are supplied with electricity so that your projector once taken out of Sound Station is always charged and ready to use. The Sound Station is very helpful for business presentations as well as for private use.
USB and AV ports
Aiptek has given the Sound Station a slightly futuristic design. The connections include a mini AV port and 2 USB ports. The dimensions are 21x11x5 cm, the device is small and portable, weighing just 300 grams.
I recommend to first check compatibility with your Aiptek Pocket Cinema. I purshased this sound station in same order with Aiptek PocketCinema V50, but I had to return the sound station as the V50 does not fit in the docking. I've no specific comment about the sound station as I coud not use it.
The docking station does everything required of it. The miniature USB connector is sometimes fiddly to get at but once engaged the contact is secure. So far I have only experimented with it but I feel that it will live up to expectations!
