Nicely Done! 13 April 2010
By Mrsanthropy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Through a brilliant combination of cynicism and innocence, Athena McCormick manages to craft an uplifting story of the end of the world. It is written in first person, but from the perspective of each individual character, each with his/her own voice, giving the reader a glimpse into the souls (where applicable) of the main players.

While reading this I laughed out loud more than once, shed the odd tear, and was strangely uplifted.

In many ways a lighthearted look at the apocalypse with random startling pieces of beautiful prose that almost border on literature.
